Aliance pro energetickou soběstačnost is an NGO with its headquarters in Brno, bringing together producers of “green” energy, specialists in the field of efficient energy use, and other interested institutions dealing with RES. The organization aims to transform the Czech energy sector so it becomes independent, clean, and partly local. Their activities focus on education, raising awareness and the promotion of modern trends and technology. The Aliance pro energetickou soběstačnost aims to maximize the use of clean energy sources in connection with effective technology. The organization often collaborates with the Czech media.
Position on the International Coalition project “Development Yes – Opencast Mines No”:
- they are interested in collaborating;
- a common subject for all countries included in the coalition’s project is RES and energy efficiency; they could support us in activities dealing with these subjects;
- we could produce a report on the situation of RES for each individual country;
- it is important to share our experiences in the international arena.
