Energiaklub is an NGO working in Budapest for the past 25 years. Through training, research and widespread communication, they want to change the perception of energy by both citizens and government leaders. The organization strives to promote independent and reliable information. Their activities focus on energy efficiency, renewable sources of energy, climate protection, conventional sources of energy, and energy policy. Energiaklub collaborates with many European organizations and institutions.
Energiaklub does not have any projects directly related to lignite open-pit mining. However, their campaigns deal with climate protection, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable development. By working together with other organizations and institutions, Energiaklub produces energy models and various types of reports.
Energiaklub works with businesses and institutions which deal with renewable energy by leading common lobbying campaigns. The organization also has good contact with the media.
